OOP languages all are important. Each language has its own features. But C+ has all features of Java. But, Java does not support some features of C+.

If you want to go in for cyber security You should first complete your graduation atleast in BTech computer science or BTech IT or BCA
Then you should go for a course to make you CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
Getting all the necessary training you will be certified as an ethical hacker on completion and various companies will hire you for IT security

Start learning.
Open HackerRank.com
Make profile and go to section 30 days of code and start solving problems. (Choose your language as C+ on right corner)

Start learning C, C+ or java.or can start either with C or C+. There are several video lecturers available on YouTube if you are not comfortable with textbooks and it really doesn't matter that you should first join college and then start learning software languages. There are several students I know who are mastered in this field before joining college. But it really takes serious dedication with lots of frustration.
Try to practice on coding websites like HackerEarth or HackerRank then you will learn how to practically implement your codes.
Have some basic knowledge of computer Architecture, like how it works, how data or instructions
