BCom offers plenty of employment opportunities to students in various sectors. Some of the main reasons why students should pursue BCom are:
- A BCom degree from PRSU will enable students to join different sectors like management, accounts, finance, hospitality, etc.
- Students can pursue Master of Commerce (MCOM), MBA after BA for further specialisation and in-depth knowledge of a subject.
- Several government jobs require students to have a BCom degree. So, having an this degree will be a plus point.

Yes, candidates can do an MBA after pursuing BCom from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University. The total number of BCom seats offered by the PRSU and its affiliated college/ institution is 10,680. However, the highest number of BCom seats are offered by Mahant Laxmi Narayan Das College i.e. 1800. After this college, the Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Post Graduate College offers 520 seats in BCom courses. Yes, Pandit Ravi Shankar University in Raipur, Chattisgarh follows seat reservations for BCom courses. The reservation of seats will be made as per govt. Rules for SC/ST/OBC/PH category. In case no candidate is eligible /available for admission under the reserved category the seats will be treated as unreserved and will be made available for general category candidates. Additionally, the university also reserves seats for domicile students.

PRSU BCom course admission is entirely merit-based. The admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate specially in commerce stream can get admission to the BCom programme.
