In case you feel that you should have been awarded higher marks in a subject, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the PSEB 12th paper. The marks awarded after the rechecking/reval shall be considered the final marks and a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter.

If you fail in 2 subjects out of 6 subjects in PSEB Class 12th you will not be eligible to clear the Class 12th Board exam. However, if you have failed in 1 or 2 subjects, you may be eligible to appear for the PSEB Class 12th compartment exam. The compartment exam is a second chance given to students who have failed in one or two subjects in the main exam to clear their papers and obtain their passing Certificate. The compartment exam is usually held in June/July and students have to fill a separate compartment exam application form and pay the exam fee. In case you are unable to obtain 33 percent marks in one subject in PSEB 12th, you will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exams for the same subject. The PSEB 12th compartment exams are held in June/July. This is a second chance to save your academic year.
Students are advised to finish the Punjab Board 12th syllabus and know the exam pattern well. They must also solve and practice the previous year's question papers to know the types of questions asked in the exam. With focus, students can easily obtain the minimum passing marks.

Many students wish to clear their board exams without studying, however, please note that you will not be able to pass the 12th class without securing the minimum passing marks of 33 in all subjects and also 33 percent in aggregate.
