The difference between a Psychiatric Nurse and a Psychiatrist is that the Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor who has completed a specialised degree in MD or DO, meanwhile the Psychiatric Nurse has studied the specialised Nursing field of psychiatry. Thanks!

Eligibility for Acharya Institute of Health Sciences for M.Sc. in Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing) ;
Pass in B.Sc Nursing Basic / B.Sc Honors in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing / Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing from any recognised University / Board or Council recognised as equivalent by RGUHS and approved by AIU (Association of Indian Universities) with not less than 50% of the maximum marks.
