Online Psychology courses, including distance or open learning ones, are not yet recognised under the NCAHP Act. The Act only allows registration for qualifications that come through conventional, in-class learning methods. Hence, no matter whether an online course is recognised by UGC or other authorities, it cannot find any place in registering itself as a Behavioral Health or Psychology professional under the NCAHP scheme.

For B.Sc. Psychology at PSG College of Arts and Science, admissions are based on merit, with separate criteria for Arts and Science groups. The college has not released specific cutoff marks for the 2025-2026 academic year, but generally, a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam is expected. Arts groups need 40% and Science groups need 60%.

To apply for Psychology through CUET, you need to opt for domain subjects such as Psychology (if offered), Biology, Sociology, and Political Science. Certain universities also admit subjects like English or General Test. Check the specific eligibility requirements of your desired universities under CUET carefully so that you select the right subject combination to get admitted into an undergraduate programme in Psychology.
