Hi,
I always recommend aspiring psychologists to pursue a regular course in psychology because psychology as a discipline involves learning from the environment. Only studying from books will not help you much. Some of the universities (best) are:
1. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
2. Annamalai University
3. University of Mumbai
4. Andhra University
5. Madras University
6. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University
7. Osmania University
8. Tamil Nadu Open University
9. Karnataka State Open University
10. Nalanda Open University

You need to be eligible for the admission as per the cut offs, your best of four percentage needs to be equal or more than the cut off percentage. Only a few DU colleges offer this course. If you did not have psychology as a subject in class 12th, then a certain percentage from your calculated best of four will be deducted. In the case of deduction, your best of four the percentage decided by the college needs to qualify the cut off. Good Luck.
