It's quite a off beat query that you are asking. Normally speaking one and half times the normally required time is given for regular students to complete any course. So it's three years for M.A. But as it's short duration it would be four years. But university holds the discretion to extend it in some cases. So, don't worry.

Yes, of course. What matters are the marks scored in graduation for admission to PG courses. Of course many universities have started conducting entrance exams for admission to PG courses. If you show same flair in this entrance exam then your chances will improve further.
