Ideally, you should have your Bachelors in psychology to pursue your Masters in psychology. However, some universities do permit graduates from other streams to apply for Masters in psychology. Depending on your location, check in the local colleges. You may even pursue your Masters in Industrial Psychology if you want to work in the corporate sector.

You can become a clinical / counseling psychologist, school counselor, you can even apply at government institutions like NIMHANS, NARI or NIMH. Ideally, you must have an MPhil / PhD if you want more job opportunities.

In other counties you need a license to practice as a psychologist. As of now, only RCI gives a license in India. Other than that, there are many institutions that do not ask for a license.

Since you are pursuing your MA in psychology from IGNOU, check up with the university guidelines. Also, since psychology is a practical subject, you will need hands on experience. Do apply for internship at a reputed institution and dedicate a good amount of hours to it.
I hope this answer helps.

You should opt for the USA. If not, then UK and Singapore are good too. You may also look for Helsinki, Finland as they have the most rigorous and respected program.

Hi,
If you could share your budget, maybe you can look for countries other than Nordic ones.

As per your statement, you want to pursue Masters in psychology. You want to pursue Ph.D too. The eligibility criteria for Ph.D will depend on the specialization you opt for in Masters.
Try to get good grades if you have a dream to take admission in a reputed university.
All the best.

I'm really sorry to say, but no. The cut-off for Psychology Honors in DU is sky-high and the subject is allowed in very limited number of colleges. However, you can definitely apply for private Universities in Delhi NCR which might accept your application.
