As per the PTET marking scheme 3 marks is granted for each correct answer, with no negative marking. The total marks for the exam is 600, derived from 200 questions. However, the Teaching Attitude & Aptitude section has a scaled marking system, ranging from 3 to 0 marks per question. 

The PTET counselling schedule will begin after the results are declared. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds to accommodate candidates with different ranks for the BEd course across participating colleges in Rajasthan. The PTET results will be declared approximately 3–4 weeks after the exam is held. To check the results, candidates will have to visit the official website of PTET and log in using your registration number and password. The result will display your overall score, rank, and qualifying status. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria are eligible for counseling. Download and print your result for future reference.

Candidates preparing for the Rajasthan PTET exam must start by thoroughly understanding the syllabus and exam pattern first and based on this, they must create a realistic study plan, practicing sample papers, focusing on weak areas, and staying updated on current affairs are essential. Regular revisions and maintaining a healthy routine further boost preparation.

To proper for the Mental Ability section of the PTET exam candidated need to solve problems on series, syllogism, coding-decoding, analogies, classification, and dice problems. These questions will test candidate's logical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for effective teaching.

To fill the PTET application form, candidates need to arrange the following documents and successfully submit them in the prescribed format - 

• Scanned photograph and signature.

• Mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th, and graduation.

• Proof of domicile for candidates applying under state quota.

• Caste certificate (if applicable).

• Income certificate for fee relaxation (if applicable).

• Valid ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport.
