No, candidates cannot get admission in PTET without qualifying in the exam. Qualifying in the exam is  mandatory for admission to 2-year B.Ed and 4-year Integrated B.Ed programs in Rajasthan. Without qualifying PTET, candidates cannot enroll in government or private B.Ed colleges in the state. If a candidate misses the exam, they must wait for the next session to apply again.

The exact number of participating colleges varies each year, but generally, more than 900 colleges accept PTET scores for admission. The PTET counselling includes government, aided, and private B.Ed colleges in Rajasthan. No, as per the official notification, there is no minus marking in the PTET exam. The PTET 2026 does not have a negative marking encouraging candidates to attempt all questions without having to worry to loose any marks. This will allow them to maximize their scoring chances by making educated guesses where needed.
