PTET Counselling

PTET counselling reservation policy for Women is done as per the State Govt policy. 

PTET offers 5% reservation for Scheduled Castes category students.

PTET counselling usually has multiple rounds, including main rounds and additional rounds to fill vacant seats. Candidates can participate based on eligibility.

Candidates need documents like scorecard, mark sheets, ID proof, category certificate (if applicable), and passport-size photos during PTET counselling and admission.

The conducting body opens the window where the eligible candidates can apply for the refund process. It includes the candidates who haven't gotten the seat but paid the counselling fees.

For Rajasthan PTET 2025, there are approximately 110,000 seats available for the 2-year BEd course and an unspecified number of seats for the 4-year integrated BA /B Sc courses. The total number of seats can vary, but the 2-year BEd programme has a substantial number of seats for admission through the PTET exam.

There isn't a single "cut-off" for Rajasthan PTET Counselling, as the process is based on seat allotment rather than a fixed score; instead, candidates receive a college based on their rank, with lower scores getting higher preference if there are still available seats in their desired college. The first allotment was released in July 2025, with subsequent rounds happening in August 2025. To get your specific cut-off information, you need to visit the official website, select your course, and input your roll number, counselling ID, and date of birth to check your allotment status and print your letter.

There are two types of fees in the PTET counselling process: registration and college acceptance fees. Candidates must pay Rs. 5,000 for the successful counselling registration and Rs. 22,000 to confirm their allocated seat. The payment can be made both online and via e-Mitra.

Every year, VMOU (Vardhman Mahaveer Open University) releases the PTET counselling schedule on its official website. According to the PTET 2025 counselling schedule, the process started on July 4, 2025, and continued till July 20, 2025.

The PTET counselling schedule will begin after the results are declared. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds to accommodate candidates with different ranks for the BEd course across participating colleges in Rajasthan.
