Yes, pursuing a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at NUSRL, Ranchi can be considered somewhat expensive. The total fee for a 5 year course is INR 5.50 Lakh, which is broken down to INR 1,10,000 per year or INR 55,000 per semester. This can be considered a little expensive. Then there is a One-time payment which is INR 42,500, it is mandatory. Apart from that there is a hostel fee which is 2.39 Lakh for the entire course duration. 

So the total fee excluding the hostel fee becomes INR 6,00,000 for the whole course and if the hostel is included then the fee becomes INR 8.31 Lakh. Which can be quite expensive. However, there are scholarships based on merit, income, and minority.
