The exam pattern and syllabus vary as per the exam stages. In Phase-I exam, questions are usually asked from General Awareness, English . Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. In Phase-II, questions are asked from Economic and Social Issues, Finance and Management and English.

RBI Grade B question papers for Phase-I exam are different for different slots. However, there is not much difference between their difficulty levels. As candidates get different Sets of question papers across various shifts, the marks of candidates are normalised to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers. The normalisation of marks is done using equi-percentile method.

The exam day guidelines for RBI Grade B exam are given below:
The roll number, password, date, time and details of the exam centres are given in RBI Grade B admit card
To report on time on the exam day, candidates are advised to visit the venue one day before the exam
Candidates should bring the admit card to the RBI Grade B exam centre along with their recent passport-size photograph duly pasted on it

Candidates are required to report at the exam centre as per the time slot mentioned on the admit card
Candidates must report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card

The steps to attempt the online test of RBI Grade B are given below:
The question paper will be in English and Hindi
All questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five options, candidates need to select one correct answer

Voter ID
Aadhaar Card

Candidates are advised to reach the RBI Grade B exam centre an hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Before candidates are given entry to the exam hall, their admit cards and photo-identity proof document are checked by the exam centre officials.

The admit card comprises the address of the exam centre, centre code, reporting time, shift time, exam date, etc. RBI Grade B exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their choice. However, the examination authority reserves the right to allot exam centres to candidates.

RBI Grade B exam centres once allotted cannot be changed by candidates. The preference of exam centres should be entered while filling the application form. The examination authority allots exam centres chosen by candidates. However, in case of unavailability of exam centres chosen by candidates, they are allotted to some other centres. RBI Grade B exam centres are allotted to candidates on the first-apply-first-allot basis. Therefore, candidates should apply early to get their preferred exam centres.
