Go for CSE, because you can always choose a specialisation or minor after getting into CSE and can even explore new opportunities as a CSE student. But if you choose AI or ML, it would narrow your options in the future. You can learn AI and ML even in CSE.
Manipal University Jaipur B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) course is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 4 genuine verified students while Thapar University same course is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5 students

In my opinion, it's not an easy task. To get admission in CSE branch because as per the current scenario, CSE is the most preferred branch by engineering students. When engineering students get a high score on academic exams they always keep computer engineering as a first choice here. For admission, students need to appear for some entrance exam so there is tough competition between students if you prepare well, then and then only you get admission to CSE branch.

Robotics Engineering is designed to study the robot design, mechanics, kinematics, and control systems, with some AI integration depending on the program.
