RRU has diverse student community with about 20% of students being international students from all over world. 1,406+ foreign students and 108+ nationalities are enrolled in this university. University's online and blended learning formats provide for more flexible learning environment and its programs draw students from many nations. There are healthy proportion of UG students and 70% PG students pursuing PG and PhD degrees.

Indian students with study permit may be able to work on or off campus while studying at university. Govt of Canada has regulations for work hours. It allow students to work up to 20 hours per week while in classes and full time during scheduled breaks from school such as summer holidays or spring break. Students might be able to work off campus, but they will need to meet specific Govt of Canada requirements. University offer good working envt with reasonable expectations set by management, good pay and learning opportunities.
