To check the application status, candidates are required to login with user ID and password. The application fees for RRB Group D exam are INR 500 for all candidates except the fee concession categories. For PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class, the application fees are INR 250. The application fee can be paid online. On appearing in CBT, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given full refund of application fee. Those belonging to unreserved categories are given partial refund of application fee. RRB Group D application fee can be paid online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI.

The modification link to upload the photograph and signature is activated after the completion of application process. RRBs activate the modification link for candidates whose applications are rejected due to invalid photographs and signatures. The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to certain allowances and benefits. RRB Group D salary after 10 years increases upto INR 25,000 depending upon various factors. Candidates' salary is revised on the basis of 39 per cent DA allowances and the salary after five years jumps to INR 15,000 at least, depending on their pay band and the city they are posted in. The salary structure is given below.

Yes, RRBs release the answer key of RRB Group D a few days after the completion of the exam. The answer keys are made available on the official website and candidates need to download them by entering the required login credentials. Candidates can even raise objections against the answer key by paying INR 50 per answer. The objections submitted by candidates are examined by the subject-matter experts. RRB Group D exam is conducted in three shifts. The exam for the morning shift begins at 9 am. The exam for second shift starts at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift starts at 5 pm. For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 36 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 or ITI or equivalent or NCVT/SCVT or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. The prescribed medical standards for the exam is given below.
