The basic pay of RRB Group D employees is INR 18,000 as per the Seventh pay matrix. RRB Group D salary includes various components such as basic pay, pay scale, HRA, DA, Travel allowances, deductions, etc. The monthly salary of RRB Group D is in the range of INR 25,560 to INR 27,920. RRB Group D salary depends on the pay band and the post for which the candidate was selected. The board increases the monthly salary of RRB Group D employees every year depending on their performance and other factors.

Railways offer good opportunities to its employees in terms of promotion. Candidates joining the post of RRB Group D are promoted after three years of services through the departmental exams. There are no rules for RRB Group D promotion and increment. It depends on seniority and vacancies in the various departments. After not being promoted for 10 years of service, the RRB Group D Salary is increased with arrears up to the current date. The hierarchy of promotion of Railway Group D is given below:
- Technician S Grade 3
- Technician S Grade 2
- Technician S Grade 1
- Master Craftsman (with grade pay 4200)

The link to download the admit card might not work sometimes due to the heavy load on the official website. In such cases, candidates are advised not to panic rather than try to download the admit card within a certain interval of time
Candidates should also note that RRB Group D admit card is released only for those whose applications have been accepted by the examination authority for the recruitment exam
In case the applications of candidates are rejected, the admit card will not be issued.
