- 1,300+ security cameras across the campus
- 120 emergency phones and blue call boxes link directly to the DPS dispatch

Students generally praise SLU for its strong academics, especially for Health and STEM. As per the St Louis University student reviews on Shiksha Study Abroad, the quality of faculty is described as 'good', while programs are considered 'research-intensive, tough, and practical'.
Students are also satisfied with the overall student life and public transportation, giving 4 stars out of 5 for both.

Indian students generally don't need to submit a separate application. They are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on their admission application. For most first-year scholarships, applications are accepted by Dec 1.
Deadlines for scholarships that do require a separate application vary by program.
