BITM is a decent college. In MBA, college brand matters most. Balaji institutes of Pune are having a good brand name in the corporate world. This is beneficial. BITM is a good option.

Both have equally good scope and placements. It depends on individual's choice. MBA finance can pave career path in good opportunities existing in financial institutions in case you have good aptitude in number crunching and analytical skills.Many also pursue CA/CFA. MBA marketing suits one with great interpersonal skills and has good opportunities in several FMCG, etc. and even marketing avenues are there in financial institutions as well.

Although nowadays business executive use business analytics to get competitive advantage but SAP CRM and SAP SD modules are more aligned to MBA Marketing functions in comparison to Business Analytics. You may first do SAP SD and SAP CRM before doing business analytics course.

Today PGDM is considered equivalent to MBA only. In private jobs, you can always get same job through PGDM which MBA candidates are getting. In some government jobs and PSU, MBA degree is demanded and PGDM is a diploma, though in criteria it is mentioned MBA or equivalent.
