Hi Prabhleen, SAT is one of the most important requirements if you want to study in the USA, even US citizens must take the SAT so you can sense the competition. However, American universities will take into account your entire profile from academics to extracurriculars, so even if you have a slightly low SAT score and a terrific non-academic profile you will have a chance. Hope you got an idea now.

Hi,
I don't think SAT or ACT is even required to apply to UK universities. Please check the requirements first on the university's websites. You must take the IELTS.

Hi,
Yes, you can take SAT, there is no eligibility as such. A SAT test taker is usually in his 11th and 12th. SAT is taken to pursue Bachelor's degree in USA.

Hi Nomaan,
Your scores are not very competitive so you must target colleges below 30 for better admission chances and scholarship. You must also note that the applications are checked holistically that is your overall profile. I hope your extracurricular activities are strong and you have a good overall profile. The question you are asking is difficult to answer because I have no idea about your whole profile. Even if you take help from a study abroad counselor they will ask you the detailed profile. So you can check a counselling service, they will check your profile and select universities close to your profile. Check with Shiksha , t

Hi, its about time management. The strategy used will differ from person to person. Ideally 3-5 months are required to prepare for the test. You must schedule it accordingly. Always begin by taking a practice test as it is a good practice and it shows your current aptitude skills and areas that need attention. You may plan out your study routine accordingly. Besides working on weak areas give your best at the areas you are confident in, these are the areas which will help you score higher. Read a lot, learn new vocabulary, follow current affairs, journals, etc. Above all, eat healthy and relax.

Hi Shrey, don't feel low. You will get very good universities abroad and don't limit yourself to just one university. Explore your options. With 88%, you can target the top universities in USA, Canada, Australia and so on. Of course, you must also have good extra curricular and a strong profile too. With regards to your query, yes you can take the SAT but check NUS website because they don't require SAT for CBSE students. Universities in Canada, Australia and New Zealand don't require the SAT, so you can try them as well. Scholarships are given on merit, your chances of getting scholarships are good.
