It is a good institution to study owing to the achievements and the associations that it makes with industry and government contacts. However, since the culture in the south is slightly conservative and strict, the atmosphere of the college might treat students a bit harshly. But in the end, all the good institutions earn a good name by excercising a strict demeanor. This has been the nature of all good colleges downsouth. To get into Sathyabama University
through management quota, you should directly approach the admission office and try to avoid the intermediaries, as all of them will try to dupe you for money. These intermediaries are mostly college students who take advantage of naive students and their parents and dupe them of thousands of rupees. All of them will claim to get you the admission at a rate lower than others, but no one can get you the same at a rate lower than what university has set for the respective branch and campus.
Hence, if you are planning to get into through management quota avoid these intermediaries.

Campus Interview:
The institute has number of big companies coming in to select the students to work with them and these companies offer the students with great packages to secure their future. The faculties make sure students are well prepared for the interviews before they appear for it.
My friend During the 6th month got a call from Amazon and Google. Hard to believe, even became harder to choose. Finally he chosen Google and then life set. Later came to know that I am the highest CTC scorer ever of 2009 batch. It felt pleasantly good to hear that. The rest of the story is today a beautiful fairy tale.

Sathyabama University is a good college but only if you are ready to work extra hard on your part. Considering the other colleges in Chennai there is absolutely no freedom inside the campus. Even the hostels have rules that make them like a prison. I mean, you cannot roam even in the campus even after college hours also you are allowed only once a month to go out from the Hostel and the inside canteen is a sham. It's smaller than our neighborhood stores and you need to get fax to go even to your home.
