Now a days the people have understood that if you want to be a good engineer and get a good job you should study in a good college. Hence the competition for the top most college's has increased.
Sathyabama University is the second best private institute in Tamil Nadu so a lot of people are trying over here. The number of people who are applying for entrance exams has also increased. We are getting upto 25k application .
Students also knows that a lot of people along with them will apply for this college. Hence some of people are preparing for the entrance exam even 6 months before and many are getting great mark. Each and every year the mark of the top 100 students in entrance exams keep on varying. It will not consent and you cannot predict it but I can say only one thing. just work hard.

Hi, Aeronautical at Sathyabama became famous 2-years back. You will have a question, why before two-years? What happened at that time?That year, Sathyabama wrote their history by becoming the first college to launch satellite along with the ISRO. Since then, the aeronautical stream at Sathyabama become very famous in India. If you join over,
you can learn a lot and have a lot experience.
Here the aero department conducts various workshops. They call various scientists from ISRO and other parts of the world.
But coming to its placement, not just in this college but at every other college, there is a lack of placement for this course. So, I would suggest you that after completing, do MS at university in other countries. By doing so, you will get a good job.

It just depends on you. My answer may shock you, but this is the fact. Ok, now let me explain you, why I said like that.
First, let's start with SRM, it's the topmost private college in Tamil Nadu. You can see people from different countries and states. It's known for its luxury environment and culture. If you SRM, you can completely enjoy your college life and, of course, they have good placements too.
Now, about Sathyabamja, it's also one of the topmost private colleges in Tamil Nadu. This college was once known for its strict rules, now also people think that this college is too strict, but I'm here to say that our college has also broken its rules.
This college is mainly known for its placement. Over 250+ companies visit the campus and the average salary of a student is 4 LPA.
And the highest salary is 32 LPA.
The topmost advantage in studying here is that this college has the best teaching method when compared to all the other private colleges like SRM, VIT and Sathyabama.
So, if you just want to enjoy your life choose SRM, but if you are concerned about the studies and enjoyment, choose Sathyabama University.

It's too good, almost 250 companies visit the campus. And we also have 95% percent placement. Now, you will ask me what happened to the remaining 5% students. In this 5%, 3% of the students went abroad for higher studies and the remaining 2% would be the people who are technically weak.
Okay, now let's talk about the placements, first, the bulk recruiters will come ( CTS, TCS and Infosys). These companies will recruit a huge amount of people, it will be up to 1K or 2K. These companies will offer a salary of 3 LPA.
Then the dream company will come for the placement. These companies will select a limited amount of people up to 500 and they will offer a salary of 6 to 8 LPA.
Then the super dream company will come they will select only limited students. They will offer you a salary, 32 to 50 LPA.
Bulk recruiters: CTS, TCS and Infosys.
Dream company: HP and Dell.
Super dream company: Google, Microsoft, Uber, etc.

SRM supports a 250 acre campus in Kattankulathur while Sathyabama is a college situated in the heart of the city Sathyabama is known to be more strict as compared to SRM be it academics or lifestyle. At SRM you are free to go for outings or to interact with your friends after college hours while it is not so for Sathyabama University you are provided with a limited number of outing.

First of all let me introduce you to the culture of both the colleges:
While satyabhama is relatively very strict, as they don't allow you for outings often! Cross gender interaction is not entertained and lesser semester breaks puts the nail to the coffin.
At srm you are free to live the way you wish to and also you are not restricted from outings.
Coming to the academics, you need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendence in both the colleges and failure in doing so would get you detained.
Deparment of ECE has received a grant of Rs. 55 Lakhs from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under Fund for Improvement of Science and Technology (FIST) scheme. Infrastructure created under this scheme includes:
Spectrum Analyzer and Signal Generator
FPGA development kit integrated with Spectrum Analyzer
Agilent's Advanced Design System Software".
Students have obtained placements at leading companies such as Intel, Texas Instruments, Infosys, TCS, Keane, Mindtree, Wipro, Cognizant Technologies and Tata Elxsi. Some are pursuing their higher studies in prestigious institutions in India and abroad.

The faculty to student ratio in srm is lot more than that of satyabhama.
Hostel facility is much better for srm as you have facility of ac /non ac /international hostel, whichever suits your pocket,which is not the case for satyabhama where you have to go with what the college allots you with.
