To apply offline for SIMATS DPharm course, candidates must go to the admissions office in Chennai, where they receive the application form and prospectus after paying INR 1,000 in cash or by DD. Further, candidates must complete the application form according to the guidelines in the prospectus and mail the completed and signed document to the specified address. Candidates must complete the admission process within the date and specified time.

For the academic year 2025, the university has opened the DPharm application process. The SIMAT Chennai DPharm deadline hasn't been announced yet. However, according to the admission dates for 2024, Saveetha University ended the application process in the final week of June 2024. For this time as well, the admissions dates may be similar.

Saveetha University DPharm fee is cumulative of different components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, and more. Some of the fee components are refundable, while some are non-refundable. The total tuition fee for the DPharm course is INR 1.2 lakh, which candidates are required to pay within the duration of the course i.e., four years. The eligibility criteria for the Saveetha University DPharm course is twelve years of school education (PCB/PCM)  from a recognised board. The DPharm course is offered via the Department of Pharmacy. DPharm at SIMATS lasts for two years and is spread across four semesters.

Yes, Saveetha University does offer a DPharm course for two years and is offered in full-time mode. The Pharmacy courses available at Saveetha University are recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. The eligibility criteria for admission to this course is candidates must complete their Class 12 from their respective board of education. Additionally, applicants must complete their higher senior secondary education in the Science stream including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

The minimum score needed in Class 12 to be admitted to Saveetha University's BPharm programme is 45%. To be eligible for BPharm programmes, candidates are usually required to have received at least 45% in their Class 12 exams, especially in the relevant Science subjects. However, the number of applicants and the number of seats available in the course will determine the merit list that the university releases. So, to improve the chances to get selected in the course, candidates are suggested to score good in their higher senior secondary.

Yes, it's possible to pursue a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) course at Saveetha University Chennai after completing Class 12 in a non-medical stream. While some universities or colleges may prefer candidates who have studied Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry,  Biology), including Mathematics in their Class 12 curriculum, but Saveetha University accepts candidates from both PCM and PCB stream.
