The eligibility criteria for M.Sc at Amrita School of Biotechnology is as follows:
Age limit: your age should not more than 32 years of age as on July 1, 2022.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates as per government norms.
Education qualifications- Graduation in any discipline of Science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Biology is preferred for Biotechnology & Microbiology programs whereas a background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred for the bioinformatics program.
Entrance exam- you have to pass any of the following examination-

yes, you can get admission in B.Sc at Amrita School of Biotechnology:
- If you have at least 55 aggregate marks or more in AEEL. There is also 5% relaxation for SC/ST students.
- If you have 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with biology as mainstream subject from any recognised university or institution.

There is two stream where students can apply-
M.Sc. Bioinformatics-student should have Graduation in any discipline of Science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred
M.Sc. Microbiology /M.Sc. Biotechnology- student should have Graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering [Biotechnology], Medicine or Equivalent [With Background in Biology]
