The eligibility criteria for M.Sc at Amrita School of Biotechnology is as follows:

Age limit: your age should not more than 32 years of age as on July 1, 2022.
 Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates as per government norms.

Education qualifications- Graduation in any discipline of Science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Biology is preferred for Biotechnology & Microbiology programs whereas a background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred for the bioinformatics program.

yes, you can get admission in B.Sc at Amrita School of Biotechnology:

  • If you have at least 55 aggregate marks or more in AEEL. There is also 5% relaxation for SC/ST students.
  • If you have 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with biology as mainstream subject from any recognised university or institution.

The minimum cutoff for M.Sc at Amrita School of Biotechnology 2023 is that candidate have to secure minimum 60% aggregate marks in their stream. There is extra relaxation of 5% to ST/SC students.

There is two stream where students can apply-
M.Sc. Bioinformatics-student should have Graduation in any discipline of Science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred

Yes, Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers better placement opportunities than University of Calicut . If, talk about the placement report of last 3 years then the placement of Amrita School of Biotechnologies are something higher than University of Calicut . 

The University Of Calicut offers starting salary package of 2.0 Lakhs and the highest salary package is 4.6 Lakhs. It may vary every according to the placement records and on other hand Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers 2.0 Lakhs as starting salary package and the highest is upto 10 Lakhs P/A. It may vary every year.
