The School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University accepts the scores of any national or state level BTech entrance exam for admissions. This can include the JEE Mains, MHT CET, CUET-UG, etc. 

Candidates who fail to appear for any of these exams can still apply to appear in the in-house entrace exam of School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University.

It's one of the top biotech colleges in Delhi under GGSIPU, known for good faculty and research labs. Students often go for higher studies or work in pharma, R&D, or biotech startups.

 Fees

You'll pay around 60,000 to 80,000 Rupee per year. Hostel and other charges are extra depending on your choices.

Expected Package

Average placements are around 3–4 LPA. Some students get 6–8 LPA, especially in pharma or data-heavy biotech roles.

Amrita School of Biotechnology offers admission on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure the suggested minimum aggregate in Class 12 for UG level admissions, and graduation for PG level admissions. In addition to this, candidates have the provision for admission online. However, to learn about the specific application period, candidates must visit the official website of the Institute and apply for the admission.

Amrita School of Biotechnology has not released the 2023 placement statistics as of now. It will be updated here as and when released by the Amrita School of Biotechnology. However, some of the top recruiters who participated during recent years placement process are available on the official website. Popular recruiters participated during Amrita School of Biotechnology placement include Agilent Technologies, Anthem Biosciences Pvt. Ltd., Biocon, C-CAMP, etc.

The total tuition fee for Amrita School of Biotechnology B.Sc. in Biotechnology is INR 411600. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of - INR 3000, and a hostel fee of amount INR 206000 that students are required to pay. The course is quite expensive compared to other South Indian colleges but the academics are really good here.

You have to meet the eligibility criteria to get in to this college.
