Yes, School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics DPU does offer BTech that extends upto four years. The minimum eligibility for the same is passing Class 12 with atleast 45% aggregate and PCM/PCMB stream. The selection criteria is entrance based with teh institute accepting JEE Main or MHT CET scores for the same. The programme is offered under a number of specialisations for the students to choose from.

DPU-School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics admission 2025 is both entrance-based and merit-based. School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics of D Y Patil (Deemed-to-be) University offers BTech and Integrated MSc  (Biotechnology) at the UG level. At the PG level, the institute offers MSc in five specialisations. Additionally, SBB D Y Patil offers PhD in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics to research aspirants at the doctorate level.

The candidates might be able to apply for the BTech admissions at School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University in offline mode. However, one part of the admission process requires candidates to register for the accepted entrance exams. The registration for such entrance exams cannot be done in offline mode.

Currently, there are 210 seats available for the BTech course at School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University. These seats are unevenly distributed among its three BTech specialisations. The highest number of seats is for the BTech in Biotechnology course which the lowest are for the BTech in Bioinformatics and Data Science.

The total number of seats available for the BTech in Bioinformatics and Data Science at School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University is 30 seats. Yes, candidates who wish to apply for School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University BTech course can do so without a JEE Mains exam scorecard. The institute also accepts the score of other national/state level entrance exams for BTech admissions. Additionally, candidates can also appear for the inhouse entrance exam of School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University to apply for BTech admissions.

The School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University BTech admissions require candidates to have Physics, Chemistry, English and either one of Mathematics or Biology as mandatory subjects during Class 12. Some BTech courses such as BTech in Biotechnology require candidates have Biology in Class 12 while others require candidates have Mathematics as a mandatory subject.

The School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University accepts the scores of any national or state level BTech entrance exam for admissions. This can include the JEE Mains, MHT CET, CUET-UG, etc. 

Candidates who fail to appear for any of these exams can still apply to appear in the in-house entrace exam of School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University.

Amrita School of Biotechnology offers admission on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure the suggested minimum aggregate in Class 12 for UG level admissions, and graduation for PG level admissions. In addition to this, candidates have the provision for admission online. However, to learn about the specific application period, candidates must visit the official website of the Institute and apply for the admission.
