In order join the Amrita School of Biotechnology, you need to meet the eligibility criteria for the admsissions specified by the school. For UG, programs like BSc. in Biotechnology criteria states a pass in HSC with minimum 60% in Physics, Biology, Chemistry taken together. For PG, programs like MSc in Biotechnology, a graduation in Science with a score of 60%aggreagate is required inddition to entrance and interview passing.

Yes, Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers better placement opportunities than University of Calicut . If, talk about the placement report of last 3 years then the placement of Amrita School of Biotechnologies are something higher than University of Calicut . 

The University Of Calicut offers starting salary package of 2.0 Lakhs and the highest salary package is 4.6 Lakhs. It may vary every according to the placement records and on other hand Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers 2.0 Lakhs as starting salary package and the highest is upto 10 Lakhs P/A. It may vary every year.

School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil (Deemed-to-be) University offers BTech in four specialisations, and Integrated MSc. At PG level, the School offers MSc in five specialisations.SBB, D Y Patil (Deemed-to-be) also offers PhD in doctorate level and an additional certification.

Yes, most of the times it happens that they visit universities for research related purpose only. But, some companies also visit for hiring students for internship program in their companies where they also pay some amount of money while you work for them.
Bioanalytical science is among the growing fields in our country however it has vast scope in foreign countries but many CROs are now approaching to hire people to work with them.

The Eligibility criteria for admission is as under in A and B.
A) The Candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology in standard XII examinations leading to an aggregate of 50% as mentioned above.
