Delhi School of Journalism offers UG and PG courses. The institute offers a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Journalism with special emphasis on languages (both foreign and vernacular). The students also have an exit option after the completion of Bachelor of Journalism  (BJ) or continue with Master of Journalism  (MJ).

The total seats offered for B.A. at National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) and Mount Carmel College are 90 and 30, respectively. While National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) offers this course in only 1 specialisation, Mount Carmel College offers the same in only 1 specialisation. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) due to higher seats.

Delhi School of Journalism admission is based on the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET). Without appearing for the CUET exam, applicants cannot be admitted to any courses at the college. After the announcement of the CUET results, candidates should register on Delhi University's admission portal and fill out their preferred programme and college. The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal will be used for seat allocation in both UG and PG courses.

The application process for the Delhi School of Journalism was open from Feb 27, 2024, to Mar 26, 2024. This was in affiliated with DU However, registrations for undergraduate courses via CUET 2024. Moreover, CUET-PG registrations for the 2024 session for admission to postgraduate courses have also begun. Interested students could apply online on the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG.
