Yes, other degree programs admission of JNTUH such as postgraduation course like MBA, etc., is usually open to the academic year 2025-2026. The TS-ICET 2025 exam, the most important exam of MBA admission has already been attended (June 8-9, 2025) and the results will be published by around July 7, 2025. MBA counselling will be held according to the results of the TS-ICET. The deadline of submitting PG applications will be August 14, 2025, in the case of the foreign national/PIO/CIWG/NRI applicants.

Yes, there are scholarships offered to students at JNTUH and School of Management Studies . These mostly consist of government aided scholarships such as those of reimbursement of fee scholarships of different categories (BC, EBC, SC, ST, disabled welfare) and merit-cum-means scholarships to minorities. There are also certain scholarships such as Epass scholarship that may be used to finance a very large level of tuition costs on behalf of qualified management students. The university also supports different national and state-study grants.

The food in JNTUH hostel mess is of mixed reviews with that of School of Management Studies hostel mess being better than some others. Most students characterize it as being acceptable, satisfactory or decent and in most instances hygienic considering the low prices. Nevertheless, other reviews state that the food may be mediocre at best or may not be good or there may be a lack of variety in the menu. Though various choices are being given out including non-vegetarian food 2 times per week, there might be variation in terms of taste and quality.

Yes there is a Placement Cell in School of Management Studies, JNTUH. It is headed by a faculty member and on an active note, organizing recruitment centers on campus where various companies are invited and also educates and counsels the students to be more employable. The cell also plays an important role in arranging placements on MBA/PGDM students.

Although specific amount in the placement of the MBA/PGDM programme in the School of Management Studies can fluctuate and are regularly identified as a constituent of university amount in general, JNTUH itself has registered striking packages. According to the latest information (2022-2024), the highest package in JNTUH available under different programs to integrated courses was up to INR 46 LPA. In 2022, in M.Tech and MCA, there were maximum packages of INR 10.5 LPA and INR 6 LPA respectively. There are also several 1 to 1 reviews of MBA with packages up to 40 LPA.

There are various reasons to join MBA /PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH is different. Being a government university college, it provides the cost-effective, recognised by the AICTE degree with the NAAC accreditation of A Grade ensuring the quality of academic strength. The faculty is capable, encouraging and experienced, and so is the campus infrastructure, and the placement cell is equally good, with a good number of recruiters, including TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. In addition, a special interaction with a global university called Central Michigan University gives them good exposure to the world enabling better prospects

Yes, you can get admission through management quota.Regular Full time MBA / PGDM admission at JNTUH School of Management Studies (Ordinary) on a regular basis is normally through TS-ICET Score. But in the case of Part-Time MBA by JNTUH, it has an entrance examination. Besides, there are chances of getting the management quota by performing well in the exam or other national examinations such as CAT/MAT/XAT in some of the affiliated colleges as well.

In MBA/PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH, a valid score in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET) is the first scheme of selection. The applicants should also have the eligibility of a Bachelor Degree of at least 50 percent marks (45 percent marks in the BC category). The process of admissions is concluding which is carried out by the centralised counselling carried out by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education and this is followed by document verification.

The cost of pursuing the programme in MBA/PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH can vary in 60000 to 200000 range at end of 2 years. This is subject to a minor variation depending on the particular MBA programme (e.g. collaborations) and does not necessarily have to include other fee such as examination fee and hostel fee.

The hostel charges at JNTUH including the School of Management Studies are variable. A refundable caution deposit (usually about 12,000 rupees plus a monthly rent is normally charged to students particularly those who are of the Telangana state although in other states it costs more). There are around 2,000 rupees per month as rent (not including mess charges) in ISH and RSQ2 hostels. Mess fees have to be paid separately, and tend to be 2,100 - 3,000/month. According to some sources, the annual hostel fee is about 28,000 (Rs).
