The pattern of Aptitude Test (AT) is as follows:
1. There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely
(A) Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ)
(B) Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA)
(C) Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ)
2. Each question will carry 4 marks.
3. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
4. The AT will be structured as under :
(D) QA (MCQ) : 40(Questions) in 40 Minutes
(E) QA (SA) : 20(Questions) in 40 Minutes
(F) VA (MCQ) : 40(Questions) in 40 Minutes

Hello,
Refer to standard books. Also, there is no shortcut to preparing, go through the books well, make a short notes and flow charts, practice a variety of questions to master the concepts. Analyze the sets of question papers given on the CSIR website. Analyze each question and study the theory part corresponding to that. Practice lots of MCQs topic wise. Apart from this, solve a lot of mock test papers to know about the difficulty level you are going to appear for and about how the questions are twisted.

Hello,
Syllabus of paper 2 is vast so start with high priority topic which contains good marking weightage. For both paper 1 and paper 2 refer to the quality study materials. This will help you come to know about the type of questions asked in the exam, certain questions that are repeated in the exam consistently and about the difficulty level which you will appear for. Appear for online mock tests so that you can check out if your concepts are clear. Revise daily. Work on speed and accuracy as well. I hope the above information help to score better.

I am hereby sharing tips to prepare for CSIR NET Physical Science
Attempt less time-consuming questions first as time plays a vital role. Time management is mandatory. Prepare each and every topic in detail as the question can come from anywhere. Make your command over the concepts and must prepare the basic concepts first. Always start from the first page and read each end every point. Keep practicing and improve your weak areas as it is obligatory to eradicate the weak points. Summarize all the points in your mind and don't get confused. Thanks.

Keep yourself updated with the latest notification. I have an updated CSIR NET Syllabus. Solve previous years questions papers. You can also join the online test series. Don't ignore paper 1. Refer quality Study materials only for both paper 1 and CSIR NET Physical Science. Put more focus on the important topics. Clear your doubts on time. Work more on basic concepts to solve all type questions easily. Don't use too many books or study material. It can confuse you. Assign times for topics as per their importance. To Prepare for UGC NET Political Science one must go for the following strategy. Prioritize the topics. Prepare easy and important topics first. Prepare short notes whenever you get stuck, contact your friends or faculty members for that.
