Candidates must pass IIT JAM/ CUET PG to apply for MSc course. Such candidates do not have to appear for online screening test. For non-GPAT candidates, admission is based on online screening test. Additionally, aspirants must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) in their (Hons) subject to apply for MSc course.

The answer is may be or may be not as every university have different criteria for admission in M.Sc in botany. University usually prefer Bsc botany graduate for M.Sc botany but if any seat left vacant they can consider student of different branch as well .

Hey as per the new education policy 2020 you can take the mixture of many subjects while doing your graduation in any particular subject. But as IIT Roorkee has not completely implemented this new policy so you have to take mathematics as compulsory in 10+2 along with chemistry.

Yes . CBSE has released new guidelines regarding the essential repeat. It is fair to assume that students with essential repeat in their result have failed in their exam. They need to appear in all the subjects next year. They cannot appear even in compartment examination.
