No Maths and Commerce subjects combination is not valid for getting admission in UG courses of IIIT Hyderabad. Maths and anyone subjects among the following: History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, English elective, Sociology are acceptable for CHD programme for admission through boards scores.

The general test for CUET will judge the general knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and logical reasoning abilities of students. Students will be provided with an option of 75 questions out of which they will have to answer 60 questions in 60 minutes. Similar to section II, candidates are expected to score at more than 120 marks to pass this section.
