The application process for Ph.D. in Geology at Jiwaji University usually begins in the month of June. The entrance exam is usually conducted in the month of July. The interview is usually conducted in the month of August. The selected candidates will be admitted to the Ph.D. programme in the month of September. The Ph.D. programme in Geology at Jiwaji University is a full-time programme that is offered in the regular mode. The duration of the programme is 3 years. The programme is divided into two phases: the coursework phase and the research phase. The coursework phase is of one year duration. During this phase, the students will be required to complete a number of courses in Geology and related disciplines. The research phase is of two years duration.
