A good score in NEST is considered to be 150+ marks. However, NEST safe score varies for each categories. To secure admission to the top programs offered at NISER and UM-DAE CEBS candidates belonging to GEN category must obtain 150+ marks, while SC/ST need to obatin 90+ marks.

While 340 seats sounds like a lot, BSc Physical Sciences is the most popular choice for students aiming for careers in Physics, Math, or Engineering-related fields. Because it attracts a massive number of applicants from all over Faridabad and nearby areas, the competition remains quite stiff. However, compared to the specialised Chemistry Major, you definitely have a statistically better chance of securing a spot here. It's a great option for students who want a broad foundation in Science without the extreme pressure of a tiny intake.

Yes, but it depends entirely on the merit list and how you filled out your application form. With 160 seats, BSc Life Sciences at Pt. JLN Government College offers more breathing room than Biotechnology. When you apply through the Haryana DHE portal, you should list your course preferences carefully. If your marks aren't high enough for the 40-seat Chemistry Major, the system will automatically check if you qualify for your next choice, like Physical Sciences. Just remember, once the seats are full across all lists, switching between courses becomes very difficult.

Yes, document verification is a mandatory step in BSc admission at Pt JLN Government College. Students are required to upload their documents at the time of applying online and furnish the original documents during physical document verification. These documents include Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, ID proof, category certificate, etc. Admission is confirmed only after the college verifies that the student meets all eligibility conditions.

If a student does not get a seat in the first merit list of the Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College Faridabad BSc admission process, the student can still be considered in the second merit list. The second list is prepared using the same merit criteria. If seats remain vacant even after the second round, students can participate in physical counselling, where the college fills the remaining seats based on merit and availability.

According to the general rules of Maharshi Dayanand University, once a student submits the online examination form and pays the fee, the application normally cannot be withdrawn for a refund. However, if a refund is approved under special circumstances, students must submit a written request. Pt. JLN Government College will process the refund through bank transfer, RTGS, NEFT, or cheque.
