Now from year 2022 it is mandatory the CUET exam if you want to get admission in UG or PG programms. Ugc has ordered all central universities 

to follow these rules. There are some other short courses like language course or Diploma courses duration varry 6 months to 2 years  where

no need of CUET. But for UG and PG it is mandatory. No direct admission.

Yes you can pursue Home Science courses after completing your 10th class like diplomas and vocational courses. These courses cover diverse subjects like home management, nutrition, child care, textile design etc. They can also be a stepping stone to higher education in Home Science such as a B.Sc. in Home Science then also an MSc in Home Science. Many students are opting for a Diploma course after their 10th class in recent scenario. 

You can pursue an MSc in Home Science after doing a general BSc degree. There may be instances that depend on whether universities accept students with a general Science background. Specific admission requirements can differ depending on other factors so make sure to check the admission criteria for the specific MSc Home Science programme you're interested in for a particular college. 

Candidates willing to take admission in the BSc course at the Gujarat Technical University should check for the admission criteria. The admission is primarily granted on the basis of Class 12 exam under the guildlines of Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS). Therefore, appearing for CUET examis not necessary for the getting admission into BSc at GTU.
