With a rank of 2426 in IIT JAM (Mathematics), you are likely eligible for several NITs and some of the newer IITs for MSc programs. You should be able to get into NITs like NIT Silchar, NIT Srinagar, and possibly some others with your rank
You might also be eligible for newer IITs like IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, or IIT Ropar, but it depends on the specific programme and cutoff for each institute.

In CUET, students are generally allowed to choose a domain subject they did not study in Class 12, provided the university they are applying to does not restrict eligibility based on that subject. For example, some universities require students to have studied specific subjects like Mathematics for certain courses. Therefore, while CUET offers flexibility, you must cross-check the eligibility criteria of your desired universities or programs to avoid rejection during counselling or admission verification.

Focus on strengthening your language paper and general test section. Practice previous year CUET question papers, improve your current affairs knowledge, and revise NCERT basics for any domain subjects you've opted for. Regular mock tests and time management practice will help you improve speed and accuracy.

Most CUET-based universities require two or three domain subjects depending on the course. If your selected programs accept the domains you've chosen, you won't face any issue. Problems arise only if the course eligibility mentions a subject you haven't opted for. Always cross-check course requirements.
