No, Maths is not mandatory.
For BHU's B.Com (Hons.) in Financial Markets Management, you're eligible if you had any of these in 12th: Commerce, Economics, Maths, Computer Science, Finance, or related vocational subjects. So a Commerce student without Maths is still very much eligible.

Trying to snag that B.Sc. Computer Science seat at Gandhigram Rural Institute? You'll need to crush CUET UG and land in the top 2.5k-ish rank zone (for General category, at least). Exact cutoff changes like your mood on Mondays, so hit up their website or that sweet counseling PDF for real-time updates. if your CUET score's decent, you've got a shot. VIT Vellore has no cut off on entrance Exam in M.Sc. Biotechnology. Rather, you will be able to get admitted based only on your grades in your Bachelors degree. At least 60 percent of cumulative score in a field related to Biology science ( e.g Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology). The SC/ST, candidates belonging to the North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh should be considered at 50% at relaxed eligibility. While St Xavier College Kolkata does not offer BSc Honours in microbiology mathematics it does offer BSc Honours in microbiology with chemistry and B.Sc Honours in mathematics for BSC Honours in microbiology the eligibility required 60% in 10 + 2 with Biology biotechnology and Chemistry as the core subject
