According to the Class 11 Physics Chapter 6 System of Particles and Rotational Motion, for a rigid body to be in complete equilibrium, two conditions should be met:
- Net external torque = 0 (rotational equilibrium)
- Net external force = 0 (translational equilibrium)
The condition for equilibrium in rotational motion ensures that the body is not rotating or accelerating linearly. It is important in engineering and static structures to maintain stability like buildings or bridges.

The moment of inertia of a body about any axis to its moment of inertia about a parallel axis through the center of mass is the parallel axis theorem.
It states:
I = Ic + Mh2
Ic is the moment of inertia about the center
I is the moment of inertia of the body
h2 is the square of the distance between the two axes
M is the mass of the body

Mutually exclusive events are events that cannot occur at the same time. we commonally call these events disjoint events also. AS per the definition given in the class 11 math probability chapter;
Two events A and B are said to be mutually exclusive if: P (A? B)=0
For Example:
When rolling a single die:
Let event A = getting 2 on top
Let event B = getting 3 on top
Since the number on the top cannot be 2 and 3 at the same time, So A and B are mutually exclusive events.

Conditional probability is the probability of an event occurring given that another event has already occurred.
It is denoted as:
Where
P (A|B): is the probability of event A occurring given that event B has occurred.
There are several other concepts which are really impoertant for acing the chapter, We recommend students to use our NCERT Solutions for Probability for the conceptual clarity and doubt solving.
