No, biology is not required for the National Defense Academy (NDA) entrance exam. For those wishing to join the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, the UPSC administers the competitive NDA exam. There are two components to the exam: an interview and a written examination. Math, English, and GK are among the topics covered in the written exam.To be eligible for the NDA exam, candidates do not need to have studies biology.

No, Mathematics is not required for the Biotechnology course.
Further, candidates aspiring to pursue the Biotechnology course are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria listed here:
- A minimum combined score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.
- Physics, Biology and Chemistry as the main subjects in Class 12 with a minimum combined score of 60% in all three.

The cut off for Bsc. Honours in Agriculture does not remains constant in Banaras hindu university, and it keeps on changing. But as per the most recent cut off marks for B.Sc Hons in agriculture at BHU through Common University Entrance Test, the cut off marks are 222 marks for general category, 198 marks for OBC category, 171 marks for SC category and 158 marks for ST category.
