In DU, admissions are done on the basis of Best Four Subjects' Marks or BFS Marks. BFS is calculated by choosing best three marks of your subjects of 10+2 and including English/Hindi.

Now, admission in Maths (H) in DU depends upon your category and the college you wish to go for. The following are minimum required Best four Subject Marks Percentage required to take clear cutoff, the lowest observed.
North Campus Colleges:
General: 94%
OBC: 92.5%
SC: 88%
ST: 85%
South campus Colleges:
General: 90%
OBC: 86.5%
SC: 84%
ST: 82%

Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2026 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the universities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course. Note: KIT Kanpur is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow  (Formerly UP Technical University).

 Yes, students from any stream, including Commerce and Science, can apply for a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) course. This course does not ask for any specific requirement, but it may depend on the institution and the type of course you are going to pursue. The basic eligibility criteria is to have class 12 in any stream from a recognised university with aggregate marks of 50-55%.
