Nano science deals with the nano size particles, which have size of less than or equal 1nm. It includes research in field of electronics circuit or biology, in which you will study about very minor particles. In biology, nano science deals with organisms, which are very small in size.
In electronics engineering, it deals with nano size devices or circuits like transistors and ICs. You can pursue B.Sc or B.Tech in nanotechnology or B.Sc in microbiology. The scope for this field is good in India. As per technological development, it will have great future in India as well as in other countries.

Hi Chetan,
Magnesium has a very energetic combustion reaction with oxygen, where two atoms of magnesium bond with one molecule of oxygen gas to form two molecules of magnesium oxide. This reaction is extremely exothermic, releasing a great deal of heat and light, which is why magnesium fuses are used to initiate reactions such as the thermite reaction, and magnesium is used in flares for high visibility.
The reaction of magnesium to oxygen is so energetically favorable that burning magnesium can steal the oxygen from both water and carbon dioxide, making these common methods of dousing flames ineffective to stop magnesium combustion.

Hi Rahul,
Semiconductors are crystalline or amorphous solids with distinct electrical characteristics. They are of high electrical resistance higher than typical resistance materials, but still of much lower resistance than insulators. Their resistance decreases as their temperature increases, which is behavior opposite to that of a metal. Finally, their conducting properties may be altered in useful ways by the deliberate, controlled introduction of impurities ("doping") into the crystal structure, which lowers its resistance but also permits the creation of semiconductor junctions between differently-doped regions of the extrinsic sem
