MBBS is the popular choice. For that you have to go through one on the most rigorous entrance test. If you are research minded, then now a days there are many institutions where you can get a job. B.Pharm is also an option.

I would suggest you to begin with Brief History of Time - Stephen Hawking, it's informative but I'm sure you won't get everything clearly.
Then read Michio Kaku's : Parallel Worlds you'll get every date, every event, every discovery properly. I liked his way of presenting events in order. His sentence framing & presentation way is superb.
Then you should try:
1. Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene
2. Road to Reality by Roger Penrose
3. Relativity by A. Einstein
4. The Edge of Reason by Anil Ananthswamy
5. The Universe from Nothing by Lawrance Krauss

There is no compound CaCO. Since carbon and oxygen are non-metals, the only compounds they are likely to form with calcium are ionic compounds. So that would require making an anion out of carbon and oxygen. The only polyatomic anion that you can get from carbon and oxygen is carbonate, CO32-. So the calcium carbon-oxygen that you might be referring to is calcium carbonate, CaCO3.
