SCMS School of Technology and Management (SSTM)

To be eligible for the BCA (Hons) program at SCMS School of Technology and Management (SSTM), students must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board, ideally with a science steam background including Mathematics.

• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board. 
     
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in the qualifying examination. 
     
  • Ideally, candidates should have studied in the science stream with Mathematics as a subject. 
     
• Other Considerations:
  • Candidates should not have any previous backlogs at their previous education level. 
     
  • The eligibility criteria and minimum marks may be subject to the regulations of Mahatma Gandhi University. 
     
  • Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with more than one chance will have their percentage marks derated at the rate of 5% for every additional appearance for the purpose of ranking. 
     
• Program Outcomes:
  • The program aims to equip students with the ability to apply knowledge of computing fundamentals, analyze, design, implement, and evaluate computerized solutions, and design and deliver software projects. 
     
• Program Duration:
  • The BCA (Hons) program is a 4-year undergraduate program. 
     
• Specific Program:
  • SCMS SSTM offers BCA (Hons.) in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. 

To be eligible for the MCA programme at SCMS School of Technology and Management (SSTM), you need a bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/BCom/BA/BVoc/BCA) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and preferably with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level, along with a valid MCA Entrance Test score.

• Qualifying Degree:

  You must have passed any graduation degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Com/BA/B.Voc/BCA etc.). 

   
• Minimum Marks:

  You need to have secured at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying examination. 

   
• Mathematics:

  Preferably, you should have Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level. 

   
• MCA Entrance Test:

  You need a valid MCA Entrance Test score. 

   
• Specific Subjects:

  Candidates with degrees in Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Operation Research/Quantitative Techniques) are also eligible. 

   
• Merit Based:

  Admission is based on merit, considering marks obtained in 10, 10+2, and graduation.
