SBI stands for State Bank of India it provides many opportunities for young graduates as well as experienced professionals for accelerated career growth. The State Bank of India conducts recruitment annually, and aspirants are looking forward to the SBI exams for SO, PO and Clerk. Being the largest public sector bank in India, State Bank of India recruits new resources through the following SBI bank exams every year: SBI Exams are conducted by the State Bank of India to hire eligible candidates for various posts like: SBI Probationary Officer (PO) SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) SBI Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO/ SO) The SBI Clerk Notification is for Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) released by State Bank of India. SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria : The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk exam is mainly about two pre-requisites: Educational Qualifications: He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Age Limit: Not below 20 years and not above 28 years. SBI Clerk selection criteria consist of 2 phases (preliminary and Mains). Online Preliminary Examination: A certain number of candidates from different categories are shortlisted by SBI depending upon the requirements for Online Main Examination Online Mains Examination: Candidates are required to score passing marks and above in the main exam to qualify each section as well as the overall cut-off in the main exam to be eligible for the Final Selection. Final Result: A merit list is released under the Final result is declared on the basis of the merit list in SBI Clerk Mains Exam. The Prelims exam will be Objective in nature. It will be bilingual I. e. in Hindi and English . There are no minimum qualifying marks for an individual subject or overall. There is sectional timing I. e. separate time for each subject. A negative marking scheme is involved in the Preliminary exam. 1/4th mark for the incorrect answers will be deducted. As decided by the State Bank of India, a sufficient number of candidates from each category will be selected for the Mains exam from the candidates list arranged in the descending order of overall marks scored.
