The eligibility criteria for Company Secretary (CS) course are given below in detail:
1. Foundation Level:
- You must have passed Class 12 from any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science), from a recognised board.
- There is no speciic demand for subjects or age limits.
2. Executive Level:
- You must have completed your graduation in any field (except Fine Arts).
- Graduates can directly join the Executive level without taking the Foundation level.
3. Professional Level:
- You must pass the Executive level to register for the Professional level.
- To begin the course, you must register with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Any student who aspires to become a certified Company Secretary must fulfil the given eligibility criteria to pursue the CS course in Bangalore:
The minimum qualification required to register for the first level (Foundation Programme or CSEET) of the Company Secretary course is to pass Class 12 in any stream (excluding Fine Arts) from a recognised university or equivalent.
The candidate who wishes to pursue CS after graduation will have to complete only two levels: Executive Programme and Professional Programme.

CS starts at the 10+2 level. Diploma in CS engineering is not considered to be graduate level. Now, you have 2 options- complete class 12th and do foundation level CS while simultaneously preparing for the exam. ( class 11th+class 12th)
