Sheridan College

Sheridan applicants should have basic computer skills and have access to laptop or pc along with good internet connection. The college also recommends students to have an internet connection that can provide 10 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload plus unlimited usage. 

Also a few classes of student may take place remotely so ensure you have a webcam and audio input/output capabilities as well. 

International students will have to submit proof of English language proficiency to be able to enroll in a Degree, Master's and Graduate Certificate programme at Sheridan College. The minimum requirements are as follows-

• DET- 115 overall with no subscore less than 95
• IELTS Academic- 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT- overall 4.5 with no section below 4.5

Indian students at Sheridan can work part-time. They must not work 24 hours per week. To work part-time while studying at Sheridan College Canada, they must be enrolled full-time in a course. Those students who are enrolled in a co-op or internship work term, they cannot work part-time. 

Sheridan College does offer housing facilities to its students. The housing facilities are available at the Sheridan Trafalgar Campus and Sheridan Davis Campus. Two-bedroom style accommodation is available. First-year students who completed the application process by Mar are preferred for the housing.

Sheridan College has three campuses, Davis Campus, Trafalgar Campus, and Hazel McCallion Campus. Davis Campus is the largest campus of thus college. It offers courses in the study areas like Applied Health, Community Services, Engineering, and Technology programs. The full-time students at this campus is 9,300+.

The co-op and internship courses at Sheridan College are the courses that links classroom learning with unpaid or paid employment. These courses at Sheridan College require 360 hours for the completion of a work term. Some of the co-op courses that are available at this college are Applied Data Analytics and Visualization, AI Development and Applications, Computer Systems Technology, Computer Systems Technician, Network Engineering Technology, etc.

The duration of Sheridan College Bachelor of Animation (Hons.) course is 4 years. This course is PGWP-aligned. Students are going to learn from industry professionals, using the same tools that students will require in the workplace. After Year 3, students are going to gain professional experience during a three-month work placement. 

Sheridan College Canada offers 100+ courses across five faculties. It is recognised nationally and internationally for the subject areas like Performing Arts, Business, Digital Media and Communications, Visual Arts and Design, Applied Computing and Engineering Sciences, and Community Service Studies.
