For applying at Sheridan College, international applicants need to register for an online application:

For creating a new application and signing up, the applicants need to provide details such as name, email, country of citizenship, status in Canada and a password.

Once the application is created, the applicants will begin the application by selecting the programs. They can choose up to three different programs and one ESL.

The application has five main pages where international applicants are asked to provide information outlined below:

Page 1: The page requires the applicant to provide both contact information such as name, email address and phone number and personal information such as gender, country of birth, passport number, date of birth and address.

Page 2: On this page, applicants will be asked to provide information about agents along with allowing release of information.

Page 3: Information about the academic history, requiring name of the institution, its type and country will be provided.

Page 4: The page requires applicants to upload passport and other immigration documents along with a proof of English proficiency.

Page5: Additional information will be provided, including feedback as in where the applicant heard about Sheridan College and application will be submitted after accepting the declaration.

Sheridan College offers various programs at different levels with specific eligibility requirements.

For post-secondary programs, a high school Diploma or equivalent is required. The applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65 percent in Grade 12. Grade 11 final marks will also be considered in the admission process.

For post-graduate programs, the applicants must possess a post-secondary Diploma or degree along with related work or educational experience. In some cases, applicants are required to submit a cover letter, summarising the career goals and reasons for selecting the intended course, and a TOEFL including details of work experience. Sheridan college also requires students to have a level of computer literacy as per the programme applied for.

By login into the official portal of Sheridan College you can check the status with the help of your user ID and password. Within one-to-five days of submitting the application, international applicants receive important information from Sheridan College via email. The students can upload the required documents as suggested in the email and keep a track of the application for further information. Sheridan College begins sending out admission offers for Fall semester as early as February 1 every year. Admission offers to the programs, having additional admission requirements such as portfolios and auditions, are sent out later in March. Sheridan College also offers on-campus housing known as Sheridan Residences. These residences include modern facilities and fully-furnished suites with common kitchen and laundry facilities. The cost of on-campus residence for eight months is as follows:

The residence fee is payable by wire transfer. International students who are interested in on-campus housing must submit an online application with a refundable CAD 350 deposit which is payable by credit card.

In case, the students wish to opt for off-campus residence, they can use Sheridan’s resources such as Places4Students.com for all the information related to homestays and rented houses.

International students can easily apply for Sheridan College admissions by following below steps:

• Students will start the application process by choosing the preferred programme from the college's database of over 140 diploma, degree and graduate certificate programme options.
• They will have to initiate online application as Sheridan College doesn't have paper applications.
• They are required to complete all the sections of the application.
• Pay non-refundable Sheridan College application fee to submit the application
• They will then upload the required documents after receiving nine-digit Sheridan ID number.
• Upon receiving offer of admission, the applicants will have to secure the seat by accepting the offer and paying tuition fees.
