ECT provides both online and offline courses. It has study centres in Delhi, Noida, and Pune for its popular content writing courses, from foundational to advanced certifications. Note that ECT courses in the offline mode are mostly delivered on weekends, and batches, along with seat availability, are announced directly on the official website itself.

The Indian government recognises ECT or Education & Career Times as a startup under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. The official website mentions that it offers placement assistance from resume building to interview prep, as well as guaranteed paid and unpaid internships. With some courses, students also get access to freelance projects. Another aspect that defines its legitimacy is its trained employees working in top organisations, including Google, Wipro, HCL, Tata, and similar. Also, ECT conducts student interviews before enrolling in some of their courses. You may also look into other online government

A Specialization on Coursera is a structured series of related courses to help learners master a specific skill or subject area. Each Specialization consists of multiple courses that build on one another, delivering a comprehensive learning experience.

In addition to the core courses, Specializations often include a capstone project, which is a practical application of the knowledge gained. You can access Udemy courses on multiple devices, such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. There is no limit to the number of devices on which you can access your Udemy course account.
However, it is important to note that some features may or may not work or may work differently depending on the device or platform's compatibility. For example, you can customize your learning with reminders and use dark mode on the Udemy app. You can also learn anywhere with offline viewing, Chromecast, and AirPlay. Please check which features you want and access the device accordingly.

The Udemy completion certificates indicate that a learner has completed a course, though they don't qualify as officially accredited participation by any university or professional organization.

They may still be valuable for showing skills on your CV and LinkedIn. Certain employers attest to embarking on self-study initiatives recognizing Udemy courses.

To gain industry-recognized credentials, a student may need to take Certification Examinations with professional/industrial bodies (e.g., AWS, Google, Microsoft) after a particular course with Udemy.

Yes, you can access Udemy offline, but there are a couple of restrictions:

  • Courses are downloadable for offline viewing through the Udemy app on mobile devices.

  • They may not be viewed offline directly on a desktop or laptop. However, you may download lectures on these devices with the instructor's approval.

  • Udemy Business users may download courses via the app, but restrictions may exist depending on their organization's policies.

Udemy offers a variety of subjects for free, but they come with limitations. Such free courses are mostly video lectures without a completion certificate. Please note that Q&A support from the instructor and direct messaging are usually not possible with free courses. Some of these free courses may be offered for a limited time, after which they may turn into for-pay courses.

You can view free courses by using the search option on Udemy's catalogue and choosing "Free" underpricing.
