Government banks are also known as Public Sector Banks. The procedure to apply for the job is that you must appear for an entrance exam. Upon clearing you can apply for the job.
Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) has the duty to conduct entrance exam for 19 Public Sector Banks. These banks participate in two entrance exams from IBPS:
IBPS Clerk
IBPS Bank PO
You can appear for any of these if you hold a graduation degree. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted twice in March and sometime in October. On the other hand, IBPS Bank PO is only conducted once in June.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Services issues a notification regarding the exam. You should read it carefully and follow the procedure mentioned in it to apply for the exam. This notification is available on newspapers as well online including the official website of IBPS which is www.ibps.in
IBPS Clerk Eligibility:
1. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory to have.
2. Also, it is mandatory to have diploma or degree in computers.
3. You can also have computers/IT as subject in 12th or graduation.
4. Must be fluent in official language of the state where you wish to apply for job.
5. 20 years is minimum age to apply while 28 years is maximum.
IBPS Bank PO:
1. Any graduation degree is acceptable as qualifying course.
2. No percentage criteria.
3. The minimum age is 20 years to apply.
4. You should not cross 30 years to apply for the exam.
Relaxation for both exams:
1. There is 3 years' relaxation in upper age limit for OBC.
2. SC/ST gets 5 years' relaxation.
3. PWD has 10 years' relaxation.

MBA's are overrated in India as in today's scenario we can see that field of MBA is attracting most of the youth irrespective of their capabilities to perform like an MBA. This may be due to the reason that this course offers opportunities to meet different people and secondly most important that it offers high packages. We see MBA's not only from commerce background but from science, arts too.

Yes, it is one of the toughest decision which a student has to take during his/her study time. First thing is faculty. There must be good faculty members no matter whether he or she is from a top college or not. You should know about their experience in the teaching field. Basically, the bank or the financial company suggests to repay the amount by 5-10 years that generally starts after a year after the completion of the course or six months after you get a job which one is faster. It depends on the candidate that what package he/she gets after the completion of the course and depending upon that he/she must decide that how many years he/she should need to recover the loan. The candidate may also prefer to choose a long period of time to repay the loan and after that if he/she thinks that he /she don't need that long period of time to repay then the candidate may talk with the bank or financial company to revise the terms and conditions and make the repayment time shorter.
