I would like to thank everyone for providing me this opportunity for answering this question. The same question puzzled & boggled my mind when I was about to enter Xavier's Labor Relations Institute. I directly asked this question in the classroom to the dean Dr. Asish K. Pani he smiled & said we do not provide any placements to the candidates,the organization comes & hire candidates. XLRI is the oldest B-School in the country which was established in 1949.
As per the placement report-
1) There was a 17% increase in the number of new roles offered to students as compared to other previous year.
2) The average salary offered was Rs 19.21lakhs. The marketing students bagged an average salary of Rs 21.8 lakhs, while operations domain was Rs 26.5 lac per annum.The top notch organizations recruit the candidates for India & abroad as per there skill & expertise.

Many B-schools are offering the Distance learning scheme for MBA. You should know one thing Distance learning is lavued if you learn while you earning. There is no such difficulty to selecting process.
Application process is
You first download the application form by paying 1500/- application fees and fill the application download the copy along with copy you should attach passport size photograph, Job experience certificate, your documents and attested marks cards and submit those documents along with application to symbiosis Pune campus.
Later selection process is done through personal Interview and other procedures.

I will try to give you a different aspect of preparation of topics apart from the syllabus. More than syllabus to study its important how to study and which topics to concentrate your energy on.
The most important part is your plan. So the topics you should focus on is your preparation plan. Spend a good amount of time in designing your strategy for the exam. Like how many months you have, how many hours you can devote and also the areas you are good at and areas you need to work hard.
Just start with the road map and start preparing on the topics which are categorized as important and you are weak at. Then move to other important topics in the syllabus.
Try to finish the syllabus within 80 percent of the time you have and rest 20 is for revision part.
Suppose you are good at verbal, and weaker at quant. First, start with important+ easier topics in quant

There are a lot of people who are confused with doing distance MBA and prospects after that.
So, coming to the point directly, I will say that if you are fresher and not in a good position in a career it would be a total waste.
Distance Education is only good for people who are already working and are in good position in a company, at this point they can spend little to improve their education qualification for the sake of just degree they are never judged on Distance MBA because work experience speak for them.
A better option that many professionals take is executive MBA where you attend university and do classroom study and work on some projects by universities along with that, you also meet and network with professionals from around the world.
*For executive MBA, you need atleast 2 year work experience.

MDI Gurgaon, one of the premier institute in the country has recently finished it's 2017 batch placement of 343 placement offers from 143 recruiter across the globe with 28.9% rise in the salary package. About 15 students have bagged International offers at package of 55 lakhs per annum with average package being 18.89 lakhs per annum by MDI students.
