The Institute of Law, Nirma University offers 5-years integrated Programme BA LLB (Hons.) and B.Com LLB (Hons) while the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda offers LLB and BALLB (Hons.). Nirma is a private university while MSU is a government one. The fees have a huge difference and thus the facilities also vary. The extra-curricular activities provided in Nirma are more varied and extensive. Thus if that's your basis for selection then that should be your pick. If the curriculum is in question then they have a similar curriculum with yearly moot courts.

Hello,
Chandigarh University is a private university established in the year 2012. Unfortunately, students and parents both invariably confuse it with Punjab University in Chandigarh which is government university. The university is offering a combination of integrated 5 year BA LLB courses or simple post graduate LLB also. As per my knowledge, placement opportunities in Chandigarh University is an aponymus concept since only first batch of integrated course would be the one affected. However being a private university, it is making all-out efforts to make the grade on all parameters. Therefore it's ranked quite high in surveys conducte

First of all you need to get an LLB degree to start off with your career as lawyer in India. If you are in high school and have decided to take law as full-time career ahead, go for integrated courses offered by reputed institutes these days. This 5 year integrated course gives you a graduation degree plus the LLB degree too. But if you're already a graduate, you must go for 3 year LLB course and pick your field of specialization. Like in your case, it is criminal law.

Hi there,
Well, you can't expect much of placement opportunities here as the university doesn't have much to offer on campus. The college is also not a preferable institute for any law firm or corporate firm and thus, you have to take care of your CV in order to get off campus placements through PPOs or interviews later. The university also does not have much to its reputation even in terms of law. So, you can't expect getting placed while pursuing a LLB course here.
However, based on your CV, you may get a job at a firm which would be your own effort totally.
Also, you have options to option for litigation judiciary UPSC/PSUS banks, etc.
